Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nepali Bible नेपाली बाइबल mobile application (the “App”) provided by DarkBlue Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Nepali Bible नेपाली बाइबल for your own personal, non-commercial devotional use, subject to these Terms and the App Store rules.

2. The Service

The App provides Bible reading and study tools — including notes, highlights, bookmarks, journaling, and search — together with an AI “Ask Divine” feature for Bible-related questions. This edition of the App does not include user accounts, sign-in, or community/social features.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App is free to use. It also offers optional paid upgrades. Purchasing premium removes advertisements and provides an enhanced AI experience (including faster responses and higher usage limits).

Subscription plans

Premium is available as the following auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Monthly — renews every 1 month.
• Quarterly — renews every 3 months.
• Yearly — renews every 12 months.

A one-time Lifetime purchase is also available. The Lifetime option is a single, non-consumable purchase that grants premium access with no recurring charge.

Auto-renewal terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store: open the App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Pricing

Prices are shown in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region, currency, and App Store. Prices are subject to change; any change will apply only to future billing periods.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the App or change devices, you can use the Restore Purchases option in the App to recover a previous purchase associated with your Apple ID.

Donations

The App offers voluntary one-time donation options — Seed Gift, Faith Partner, Ministry Supporter, and Kingdom Builder. Donations are made freely to support the ministry and do not unlock any goods, services, features, or premium access. Donations are non-refundable.

Refunds & Apple’s EULA

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store’s policies; please direct refund requests to Apple. Your use of purchases is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (Licensed Application End User License Agreement), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

4. AI Content Disclaimer

Answers produced by the “Ask Divine” feature are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. They are provided for general informational and devotional purposes only and do not constitute theological, spiritual, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Always use discernment and consult qualified persons where appropriate.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems, or by using the App for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

The App’s name, design, graphics, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Scripture text is provided for personal devotional use. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (including Apple, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and OneSignal). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
